Question by sberic81: How long does oxycontin stay in your system?
I snorted roughly 600 mg of Oxycontin in the last two days. I have a drug test coming up in about a week in a half. There doing a swab and a urine, its for a job. Do you think it will be out of my system by then?

yea… drugs like pain meds stay in ur system roughly 24 – 72 hours… you’ll be fine by then.

Most basic drug urine tests that test for opiates detect morphine, which both heroin and codeine break down into. Morphine is not a major metabolite of oxycodone, so these standard opiate tests generally do not succesfully detect low to moderate oxycodone use. High dose or frequent recent use of oxycodone may leave enough morphine in the body to be detected even by basic tests… however it’s only detectable in urine for 3-4 days.
